Eric Takamura, CEO / President
Eric has 16 years experience in the field of electric propulsion and permanent magnet motors. Previously, Eric was the Chief Operating Officer of NGM. Before being promoted to COO he was their Director of Engineering and Marketing. Eric has played a key role in taking NGM from a niche player in the solar car field to establishing a diversified customer base internationally and also establishing large scale manufacturing partnerships in India and China. Prior to NGM he was a Lab Researcher and Engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC where he worked on tribology assignments. Eric has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters background in Transportation & Safety from The George Washington University. Henry Toh, Director
Since 2001, Mr. Toh has served as a director of Teletouch Communications Inc. Since 1992, Mr. Toh has served as an officer and director of C2 Global Technologies Inc., a publicly held voice-over-IP company. Since December 1998, Mr. Toh has served as a director of IDNA, Inc., formerly National Auto Credit, Inc., a specialized finance and entertainment company. Since April 2007, Mr. Toh has served as a director of American Surgical Holdings Inc, a specialty professional healthcare services company. Since February,2008, Mr. Toh has served as an officer an director InovaChem Inc From April 2002 until February 2004, Mr. Toh served as a director of Bigmar, Inc., a Swiss pharmaceuticals company. From September 2004 until August 2005, Mr. Toh served as a director of Vaso Active Pharmaceuticals Inc. Since 1992, Mr. Toh has served as an officer and director of Four M International, Inc., a privately held offshore investment entity. Since August 2005, Mr. Toh has served as a director of Labock Technologies, Inc. Mr. Toh began his career with KPMG Peat, Marwick from 1980 to 1992, where he specialized in international taxation and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Toh is a graduate of Rice University.
Dr. Duraid Mahrus, Director
Dr. Mahrus has over 30 years experience in operational and international corporate management and technology management in the automotive industry. Dr. Mahrus was Vice President of the European Power Train Division in Federal Mogul managing 30 manufacturing plants in Europe, Asia and Africa with combined turnover of over $1.2 Billion. Prior to that, he was President of Metal Leve Inc. USA, which he started up and built to a market leader in the Heavy Duty Diesel industry, Managing Director of Metal Leve SA Piston Division, a market leader in Brazil's automotive business. He holds numerous patents, has authored several technical papers and was the winner of Brazil’s Presidential Technology Prize. Along his career Dr. Mahrus has played a leading role in the "Ethanol Program" in Brazil, contributed to India's "Zero Emission Initiative" by managing the transfer of electric vehicle technology and was Board Member on "North Shore Energy Technology", a start up in the alternative energy sector. Dr. Mahrus is currently a Board Member of a Consortium involved in building a 750 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant by Siemens and President of Suntrough Energy Inc., a solar energy company. Duraid obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree in Power Station Technology at Munich Technical University in Germany and worked in Power Stations and power generation fields. He obtained his Ph.D. at Nottingham University in the UK and a Business Management education from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil in cooperation with Vanderbilt University.

Ovyin is a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years of dynamic experience serving in various US Domestic, US Defense, and International markets. Industries served include Defense, Aerospace, Consumer Goods, Transportation, Shipping, and Public Utilities working for and with companies such as but not limited to John Deere, Catepillar, Onan, Stewart & Stevenson, and GE amongst others. |
